Mighty-Fine Tattooing
Some of us never stop looking for answers. we search. We seek. Sometimes it's just an idea. But this feeling that one is never "there". Wherever "there" is. And this is how we find ourselves right here. The Seeker Tattoo is located in the California Hi-Desert, 45 minutes from Palm Springs and 10 minutes from the main drag in Joshua Tree. The shop specializes in high-quality Western Traditional American and Japanese tattooing, large and small scale. Custom and flash. Owned and operated by Matt Howse.
The Seeker is a custom and flash shop, opened in May 2025, and it's our vision to be a beacon here in the hi-desert, a destination for those wanting what we make.
Matt Howse has worked mostly in the San Francisco Bay Area, having moved to San Diego in 2019, then to Yucca Valley in 2023. The shop itself is sort of a journey through Matt's history in tattooing; the shops he's worked in over the years, the places he's traveled, and especially the influence that's shaped his work over the years.
Whether you have something drawn and custom, or walk in and pick a design from the hundreds at the shop in flash and books, you're in good hands here.

A FEW THINGS TO KNOW
DEPOSITS AND PAYMENT
We are a cash-only shop! Unless prior arrangements have been made with an artist, please bring cash to your appointment. All appointments require a deposit, and no appointments are booked and confirmed without one. Our cancellation/reschedule policy is 48 hours prior to your appointment time, or deposit will be forfeited.
SO WE ALL HAVE A GOOD TIME
To get tattooed, you must be over 18 WITH valid government ID. No Exceptions! Please be sober, and no cel phone conversations or disruptive noise in the shop.
